Let us introduce ourselves. We are Karen and Adam Coventry.

Our privately owned Chalet is located in the small community of Le Chinaillon, approximately 40 minutes drive from Geneva Airport, which is now a bustling skiing resort during the winter months. Chalet Marion is located in the old village, about 300 metres from the tiny 17th century church, which is surrounded by ancient farms. You will be able to enjoy Alpine walking at its best with magnificent views of the Aravis and the Mont Blanc mountain range.
                             
Le Chinaillon lies in the upper valley of the river Borne, about 3 miles above Le Grand Bornand, and on the Col de Colombiere, which is well known to cyclists everywhere. The upper valleys of the Borne are incredibly rich in Flora and Fauna and so Le Chinaillon is a natural centre for the exploration of all branches of natural history. The village is near to the market towns of Le Grand Bornand, La Clusaz and Thones; all of which have weekly markets. Why not spend a couple of hours in the Grand Bornand  market before a walk in the Alps?

Our Chalet ia also located at the heart of the French cheese making industry, and you have the opportunity to purchase the delicious Tomme and Reblochon cheeses from the farms where they are made. The lakeside town of Annecy lies about 30 kms away and a visit to this beautiful and historic location, with its many ancient churches and myriad of eating-places is a must!
